"Oh, my gosh, do we love the wild west and the history of our area, Prescott, Arizona."

Welcome to Our
Old West Social Club.

We're glad you stopped by. Now sit a spell and enjoy our site!

Check out our new scrapbook memories page and see what we've been up to.

Or look at our list of planned events.

Welcome to the Boots & Bustles web site. We are a loosely organized social club, made up of people who are interested in dressing in period attire, and keeping the memory of our Western Heritage alive. We participate in various events, like parades, costume contests, and skits, as well as partner with other businesses and groups when invited. We perform at rest homes, festivals, expositions, and Old West Events. We have a lot of parties.

We were organized in September, 2009. We have a VERY creative and excited group! Several of our members have written skits for us to perform, and more than a few of us have discovered unsuspected acting ability. (Find your inner ham!) Others have turned out to be good at props, set building or smoke and explosions. We have already brought home awards from several different re-enactment events. We encourage members to get involved in as many areas as they like.

Our annual dues are $20 per person, which pays our insurance, entry fees, web page hosting, etc.

We generally meet at the Phippen Western Art Museum at 1:30pm on the third Sunday of each month, but please send an e-mail if you would like to join us, so that you won't be disappointed if we happen to be meeting elsewhere on a particular month.

We are thrilled that you have visited our site and have taken the time to read about our group. Contact us at ourangle2@aol.com or critchie206@msn.com with any questions. We would like to invite all of you to join us and be active with the Boots and Bustles, the best Old West reenactment social club in Prescott, AZ.

What We Do

picture_Jean_trophy

We enjoy life to its fullest and try not to let the little things get to us.

We make our clothes, buy and embellish, or just buy and wear. This includes the corsets, hats, hat pins, guns, holsters, spurs and the rest of the trappings.

Rule #1... there are no stinkin' rules
